Managing My Mondays

I'd like to ask you to pray for Mrs. Julie, Isaac's caregiver and my FABulous helper. 

She has been having some health issues lately, and is not feeling very well.  She won't be here with us today, and while we miss her, we really just want her to feel BETTER soon!!!  I know she would appreciate your prayers.

Since Julie isn't here today, managing my Monday will be quite a bit different than usual.  In fact, our good bloggy friend, Cheryl (Copperswife), just did a post over the weekend that addressed these changes in our households when things get hectic or off-schedule.

You will also find a comment from me on her post.  It will give you an idea of how my Monday will be managed today. 🙂

Thankful on Tuesday

I'm thankful that Isaac's caregiver will be back tomorrow, after 3 days' absence.

I'm thankful for Overstock.com codes that save me $5 on my order.

I'm thankful for computer-printed coupons to Michaels that save me 15% off items already 40% off!

I'm thankful for businesses that do what they say they will do.  (Magazines.com did an automatic renewal on a subscription I ordered last year.  I contacted them, told them I did not want the magazine, and they refunded my full amount!)

I'm thankful for new business cards that shipped out early!!!

I'm thankful that, in one week's time  – if the Lord wills, all goes well with Isaac, all goes well with his caregiver, all goes well with me, and the creek don't rise – I will spend just a few hours with some lovely friends looking at a scene very much like this one, but in REAL life!!!

Happyeaster

What a glorious day to be a Christian!

It's not just a holiday. It's Victory Day for us!

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, lived a perfect life here on the earth, died on the cross, paid the penalty for my wicked sin with His precious, holy blood, and then ROSE AGAIN after 3 days!

He was the God-Man, given by God the Father to fulfill a purpose that was settled before the foundations of the world. That purpose was for me to know Him as my Saviour, as my Redeemer, as my Friend.

Do YOU know my Jesus???
