A Season of Thanksgiving – Day 10

Romans 1:9 "For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;"

Ephesians 1:16 "Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;"

I Thessalonians 1:2 "We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers"

Philemon 1:4 "I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers,"

Today, I am so SO thankful for friends and family who pray for me…

Because I know they DO pray for me…a LOT!

In fact, if you are reading this, YOU have probably prayed for me…

And I am so grateful for that!  Thank You!!!

It leaves me feeling that I am in debt to those who lift my name to the Lord, and I try my best to pray for them often, too.

I also appreciate that the Holy Spirit often leads me to pray for this one or that one, without even knowing their needs or struggles.  When they come to mind, I try to pray as I want them to pray for me.

Prayer is such a priviledge.

It is communing with our Heavenly Father.  It is an act of intimate conversation.  It is something we should never take for granted.

Thank you, Lord, for letting me pray, and thank You, too, for the pray-ers who pray for me!

In Him,

Alesha
