We were able to visit a therapeutic riding facility yesterday here in our town. We had heard about it before, but were just waiting on the right timing for us to try to begin Isaac's riding again.
Yesterday they sponsored a fundraiser and silent auction, and invited us to come out. It was a beautiful day, and we all had a wonderful time.
Isaac will start riding in September!!!

it really is a special place out there. the Lord’s peace was definitely there. we were really pleased, and are excited to finally get Isaac riding again. we think he will like it a lot. 🙂

Those horses are GORGEOUS! I do believe there is healing power in riding horses, there is nothing like it! 🙂 I am thrilled he has the opportunity to do this! Now I would like to see YOU on one of those horses too! 😉

Karen, LOL about me on a horse! Can you believe that I have never cared for horses, even when I was younger? I have never been interested in riding, either. I think I was up on a horse one time, and that was enough for me. NOT one of my favorite things! Soooooo…I hope you won’t be holding your breath on this one. LOL!!! I’m perfectly content to let Isaac ride alone. 🙂 🙂 🙂

My SIL used to work with an group that did this just outside of Austin. It is such a fabulous program. So glad it was a success for you and your family!
